Explosion in Balkh leaves three dead
A bomb explosion near a mosque in Shulgar district of Balkh province in northern Afghanistan left three dead and 10 others wounded.
Local officials of Balkh province say the explosives were planted in a motorcycle parked near the mosque, and it blew out while prayers were exiting the mosque.
Balkh police spokesman further added that the explosion left three dead, including two children and one man, and ten others wounded.
No one have yet take the responsibility of the incident.
Meanwhile, National Unity Government’s leaders had repeatedly called on all the anti-government insurgents including Taliban for a cease fire during the Eid-ul-Fitr.
