Iran border guards and IE security forces engaged an armed clashes in Nimruz

As per sources, four Iranian forces have been reported killed and their vehicle has been destroyed but the Iranian and Islamic Emirate has not commented on the killing yet.

Sources have confirmed to Afghan media that armed clashes erupted between border guards of Iran and Islamic Emirate forces in the Keng district of Nimrouz province on Monday.

Local residents of the Keng district said that the one-hour armed clashes erupted after Afghan people tried to dig a local channel called Sikhsar.

People say that Iranian border guards opened fire in a bid to stop people digging the channel.

The Iranian and IE forces have for a long time been at loggerhead over the channel.

Earlier, armed clashes were reported between the border guards of the two countries.
