Security forces killed 68 insurgents during fresh operations

The joint operations conducted by Afghan national police, Afghan national army and NDS and were launched in relevant areas of Nangarhar, Laghman, Kapisa, Takhar, Kunduz, Badakhshan, Kandahar, Zabul, Oruzgan, Khost, Paktiya, Farah, Badghis and Helmand provinces, ministry said.

During the operations, 68 insurgents were killed, 9 others wounded and one other insurgents was arrested by Afghan security forces, ministry added.

Afghan National Security Forces also discovered and confiscated light and heavy rounds ammunition following the operations.
