Several explosions hit capital Kabul, fearing scores killed

At least three explosions hit two schools in west of capital Kabul city on Tuesday morning while school children were on the area.

At least three explosions hit two schools in west of capital Kabul city on Tuesday morning while school children were on the area.

Taliban officials have confirmed the incidents but gave no further details.

However, eyewitness told Raha Press that the first explosion hit a private school in “Qala-e-Now” area of Dasht-e-Barchi in west of Kabul.

There is no immediate report on the casualties of the first explosion.

The second blast hit ‘Abdur-Rahim Shahid School’ a government-run school in ‘Tank Tel’ area also in Dasht-e-Barchi neighborhood.

But the third blast happened when local people rushed to help the victims of the second school’s explosion.

Unconfirmed reports suggest at least up to 25 students lost their lives and many left wounded.  

Ambulances rushed to the areas to help the victims but reporters are reportedly not allowed to enter the area.
