Taliban asked citizens to voluntarily hand over their weapons

Recently Islamic Emirate launched a clearing operation in Kabul and several nearby provinces over the past few days. many weapons, governmental property, ammunition and drugs were seized during the operations.

 Zabihullah Mujahid, on his latest remarks said, Islamic Emirate demanding all citizens of the country to voluntarily hand over weapons, governmental property and other illegal martial tools to forces of the Islamic Emirate.

Mujahid, Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate said, in his recent remarks that over the past few days, security forces have joinlty luanched an operation to ensure security of the citizens, and to arrest abductors and curb insurgents’ activities around Kabul and nearby provinces.

He called the operation a success. But at the same time, he said, “so that the clearing operation doesn’t last long.” Therefore, the people should voluntarily dispose of all the weapons, governmental vehicles and illegal martial tools, the security forces have info about thieves and kidnappers so before forces of the Islamic Emirate reach their houses. they needs to Hand over state property to the forces and cooperate with the forces of the Islamic Emirate in this regard.

Mujahid said: “If the countrymen cooperate in this regard.” So the operation will be completed in a short time, there will be no need for inspection and other efforts along the way and the situation will definitely return to normal.

He said the Islamic Emirate wanted complete security in the country and no threat to anyone’s head, property, honor and rights.

During to this clearing operation, many residents yet released from the grip of abductors and many arrested in relat to several crime cases.
