A commission formed to control prices, prevent hoarding goods: Taliban
Taliban officials in Herat have announced the formation of a commission within the Herat municipality to control prices and prevent hoarding consumer goods.

According to Taliban officials, the new commission set up to prevent hoarding consumer goods and control prices in the province, includes representatives from the Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Industry, the Chamber of Trades and the Food Importers’ Union.
Some Taliban officials are also members of the new commission.
Molavi Shir Ahmad Ammar Muhajir the deputy to the Taliban governor in Herat who was also present in the meeting called on all Afghan traders to cooperate in order to prevent rising of the prices in the market.
Since the Taliban takeover, there has been a skyrocket record on the price tags of the consumer goods in the country, resulting in for many being unable to buy or provide their necessities.
