Ashraf Ghani’s brother join Taliban group

The group circulated a video in which it shows Hashmat Ghani Ahmad Zai seeks allegiance with the group.

The video furthers shows Ghani is meeting with Khalil-u-Rahman Haqqani a senior Taliban leader and also the brother of Jalal-u-Din Haqqani founder of the Haqqani Network.

Hashmat Ghani is the older brother of Ashraf Ghani who fled the country before the Taliban fighters entered Kabul.

The US had long declared a bounty of five million dollars for information resulting in capture of Khalil-u-Rahman Haqqani.
