Herat cyclists to ride to Kabul bringing peace message

Officials in Herat Cycling Federation said on Thursday that a number of Herat cyclists are going to ride the 1046 kilometers distance to Kabul on their bikes, taking peace message.

Officials in western Herat Cycling Federation along with some Taliban local officials said on Thursday that a number of Herat cyclists are going to take the 1046 kilometers distance to Kabul on their bikes to take a peace message.

The deputy to Taliban Herat governor, Molavi Shir Ahmad Ammar Mohajir thanked the cyclists for their move and called them the peacekeepers of Afghanistan.  

Naem Haqqani the head for Herat Information and Culture Directorate also thanked the move and noted that security is well provided throughout the country and everyone can travel without any fear.
